COMING SOON! FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY

WHAT IS FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY (FST)?

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a method of assisted, table-based stretching that targets connective tissue and joint capsules. It is kind of like me doing yoga for you while you relax on the table. As with all manual therapy, it works mainly via the nervous system, where touching, mobilizing joints, and stretching  stimulates the nerves to send signals to increase relaxation, reduce pain, and  enhance range of motion.

I may incorporate FST into a regular massage treatment or you can book a dedicated FST session.

WHAT DOES A DEDICATED FST TREATMENT LOOK LIKE?

In a dedicated FST treatment you will be on the table wearing stretchy, comfortable clothing. For the entire tsession,  I will be systematically moving you into different positions to assess your range of motion and to mobilize and stretch your tissues. Comfortable straps are used to stabilize the rest of your body, and no sheets, blankets, and lotions are used. A dedicated FST session is booked separately from a regular massage therapy treatment but you will still receive an RMT receipt.
